Position of Vulnerability

The position of vulnerability,

No one likes to accept

The position of vulnerability,

So humbling to the ego,

So humbling to the pride,

So humbling to that most sensitive

Part of the human soul,

Making us feel like a five-year-old,

Making us feel like a mental patient,

Making us feel like someone who

Doesn’t know right from wrong,

Making us feel like we’re cut out

To do only the bad stuff,

The position of vulnerability

Can make us feel so small,

Can make us feel so weak,

Can make us feel like we’re not

Worth anything,

Especially on the face of it!!!

Yet once we accept it,

We soon realize that

The true strength,

The true pride,

And the true confidence

Lie in the position of vulnerability!
