In most houses, there was nothing unusual going on that morning; only the usual mad rush for the best outfit to wear on this, one of two unique days when they actually got to wear their own clothes to school. One of their only chances to show off their fashion sense... or lack of.
Across town, in a house where a group of friends had stayed together the night to make their plans, brightly coloured garments and accessories could be seen littering the room as they fought over the technicalities of their originally themed day.
Three hours later...
Students turned and laughed, pointing at the group of 'tourists' being led around the school, that actually consisted of their friends or at least people they knew by name.
“And this is the weir building, named after its founder, Wilbur Weir,” the stocky, dark haired student smartly dressed in his school blazer with a tag that read 'tour guide' led his group of tourists into the building, each of whom were wearing brightly coloured holiday shirts and shorts, and pulled small suitcases behind them. “Keep together, don't fall behind.”
It was an unfortunate fact that there were many teachers that had little or no sense of humour, and even fewer who liked the explanation for their students being late to class being 'we were held up by the tour group.' Needless to say, by the end of the day the principal's office was pretty crowded and the whole group were to get sent home with no invitation to visit their country again.
