God’s Love Humbles Us

God’s love humbles us ---

His Love makes us see ourselves

Exactly as we are,

His Love makes us see just

How vulnerable we really are

Whether we care to admit it

Or not,

God’s Love forces us to see

How much we really need Him,

How much we need to just rely

On Him

Especially in these Last Days!

God’s Love makes us see

The painful and oftentimes

Fatal consequences we must

Deal with

If we continue in our own way ---

His Love forces us to realize

How powerful He really is

And how much He really hates sin!!

His Love urges us to turn away

From our sins

And turn towards Him

So that we may spend Eternity with Him!

God’s Love is sure humbling,

All right ---

But if we’d just accept His Love

And obey His voice,

He promises that He will exalt us

In due time!!
