Are a knife,

They can cut to

The core

If they’re not

Handled properly ---

Sure they can

Build us up,

Make us stronger

If that’s what it takes ---

Yet angered words

Can leave a mark

On the heart,

Especially if they’re

Fast and flying,

Angered words

Must be handled

With care,

Handled with love ---

Or else those

Angered words

Will leave a scar!
