Discipline in solitude ---

There’s, believe it or not,

Discipline in solitude ---

It’s easy to guard our hearts

So that we see no evil,

Hear no evil,

Speak no evil

And definitely do no evil!

Surely it gets lonely sometimes,

There are times when I just

Want some company ---

Yet bad company corrupts good character,

And I do Not like being singled out,

And neither do I like calling attention

To myself!

So rather than forcing myself on folks,

I might as well be content with myself

And do the things that make me happy ---

For no one can truly bring me peace

But myself!
