Different Attitudes Collide

Different attitudes collide ---

Sometimes they collide so much,

That one can no longer see eye to eye ---

They can no longer get along,

They can no longer live together!

That’s why there are all these

Wars,

All these fights ---

Fighting for freedom,

Fighting for peace

While still holding on to their

Morals and values

That help shape their identity ---

Of course, they don’t want to forsake

What they’ve always known,

And neither do they want to forsake

Who they are,

And whenever they feel threatened,

They are frightened,

They are anxious,

And they feel powerless!

And this powerlessness

Is usually manifested

Through wars!!
