ok, so here is a little story i thought up one day about my friend. I started calling her Sparky! then somehow decided that she had a demon inside her...heres how it got there!

Sparklonton, the electric dog demon.

Over a hundred thousand years ago, a thousand lightning bolts struck the earth at the exact the same spot, at the exact same time. All this energy resulted in the creation of the electric dog demon. Sparklonton.

It was a gentle demon at first, and lived with a girl called Mary. Mary cared for the little puppy and loved it. When her parents and the rest of the village found out about this girl and her demon dog, they became angry and decided to destroy the demon so it could never harm them.

Mary rushed back to her little electric puppy and took off into the woods with it. With the villagers following them, Mary carried Sparklonton far into the forest before falling over a log and spraining her ankle.

They say dogs who live with humans believe their pack is an ancient breed of dog who adopted them when they were pups. Sparklonton, having not known anyone else but Mary, loved her as his pack sister and decided he had to do what ever to protect her. Sparklonton knew he was different from other dogs, and decided to try out his powers.

The villagers caught up just as Sparklonton grew to tower over all the trees and let out a deafening howl of anger and sadness, before calling the lightning to strike down all who were trying to hurt him and his pack sister.

When the night was over, and day broke, Sparklonton woke up after falling unconscious from the power he had used up. He sniffed around to find Mary, only to see she had been killed by the lightning.

Sparklonton disappeared into the mountains for hundreds of years after that, grieving for the loss of his pack.

A hundred years later, Sparklonton awoke one morning to hear loud sounds and men yelling. He pulled himself out from under a tree he had found shelter in the roots of and went to investigate.

The man had large, steel objects that were tearing down his home. All the animals that he had made friends with were fleeing. With the thought of loosing his friends a second time, Sparklonton grew angry and instinct took over. He transformed into a huge beast, towering over all who opposed him once again. With one swift flick of his tail, he had destroyed all the cranes and bull dozers. With another flick, he had sent all the men flying into the air. Summoning the lightning, he struck the forests around him, aiming to kill anyone who was destroying his home.

He suddenly felt a presence behind him, unlike anything he had ever sensed before. He turned to see the hermit, who had come out of a cave that was half way up the mountain the forests surrounded.

“Electric demon!” the man yelled over the roar of the fire and lightning strikes. “Be forever sealed in this pickle jar!” he yelled as he began to try and open the pickle jar lid. “Uh, give me a second!” he called. Sparklonton watched in interest as the hermit man tried to pry open the jar. After about ten minutes, the hermit was still trying to open the pickle jar, but Sparklonton had lost interest and had begun to chase his tail. “GOT IT!” he suddenly yelled as a forceful wind began pulling Sparklonton into the pickle jar, to be forever sealed so he could never hurt anyone, or feel the pain of loss again.

“Yeah right!” someone at the back of the class called. “There’s no such thing as demons!” the boy added. Miss Paine looked at him, annoyed that he had ruined the mood, then smirked.

“Well, if you’re so sure, why don’t you open it?” she asked, holding a pickle jar in her hand. The boy scoffed and closed his eyes.

“Anyone?” the teacher asked the class. No one raised their hand. “No one wants to try to open the pickle jar with the electric demon, Sparklonton inside?” she asked again, secretly knowing that no open could open the pickle jar anyway. It was a pickle jar! They’re impossible.

“I’ll do it.” A girl stood up and walked to the front of the room.

“Ok Kelly.” Miss Paine handed the jar to her. Kelly started to twist the jar lid around, trying in vain to get it to open. Miss Paine smiled.

“I guess the demon just doesn’t want you to open it.” She said. Suddenly, the room turned dark. A glow emitted from the pickle jar. Kelly was holding the lid in her right hand as the orb of light floated out of the jar and hovered for a moment.

“Holy…” One of Kelly’s friends swore. Time seemed to freeze as the orb floated, then suddenly zoomed and whacked Kelly in the chest, going into her and fusing with her soul.

“THE HECK?!” another of Kelly’s friends cried. Kelly fell back wards and fainted.

“Kelly?” a voice floated around. “Kelly?!” there it is again, Kelly thought. “KELLY!” the voice screeched as a blast of freezing cold water was thrown on her face. Kelly shot up in her bed. Looking to her left, she saw her friends Victoria, Michelle and Catherine. Catherine was holding an empty glass and grinning cheekily.

“See Vik? It did work. You owe me five bucks.” She held out her hand to collect the money. Vikki scowled as she dug in her pocket and found the right money.

“Guys? WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!” Kelly screeched. Michelle and Vikki jumped in their seats while Catherine clamped her hand over Kelly’s mouth.

“I never realised how loud you were, until you yelled in my ear.” Catherine glared at the last part.

“Sorry, but what happened?” Kelly asked after Catherine removed her hand. Michelle took a breath.

“Well, after you opened the jar, an orb of sugar filled doughnuts with sprinkles and chocolate on it floated out and decided ‘hmm, this girl looks nice. Maybe she would like to eat me’ so it floated into your hands and you took a bite and after finishing it you floated over here on a cloud of happiness as it was the best thing you had ever tasted.” Michelle said with a strange smile on her face. Everyone stared at her.

“Mind translating that?” Kelly looked at Vikki.

“The electric demon came out of the pickle jar and went inside you.” Vikki explained.

“But, how’d I get over here?” Kelly realised they were in sick bay, which was across the road from the high school. And since they were all year nines, they were in the high school. Cuz they were that awesome. Except Michelle, she’s not that awesome, but im getting off topic.

“Who’s the one with upper body strength?” Catherine crossed her arms.

“SANTA!” Kelly exclaimed. Catherine frowned.

“No, me! Me, Kelly, me!” she frantically pointed at herself. “I carried you!” Kelly grinned.

“Ok, well, about the light thing, was it the demon?” Kelly asked. Vikki nodded. “And now it’s inside me?” Vikki nodded again. “So…whats that mean?” Vikki sighed.

“Kelly. Listen very closely. You. Have. A. dee-mon. inside. you.” Vikki stretched each word out, putting emphasis on demon.

“An electric dog demon, I might add.” Catherine grinned. Kelly looked at the roof for a moment.

“So there’s a demon inside me?” she asked again.

“For the last time, yes!!” Vikki cried.

“Called Sparklonton?” She took off her glassed and rubbed them clean before putting them back on.

“Yup. Hello, Sparky!” Catherine grinned and patted Kelly’s back. “Now you’ve got a huge demon inside ya!”

“O HELLS TEETH!” (Kelly had given up modern swearing for lent)
