The angel lays alone
Soaked in blood and in the rain
Wings that once flew
Fell from the sky

Golden eyes hardly open
Arms bruised and cut
Struggles to pull himself upright
To see what they have done

Now, this angel's never cried
Never once gave way to tears
Corrupt divinity splattered with blood
He lost himself

Pellucid wings, tainted red
Torn in pieces, missing ends
Bewailing fate, the angel falters
Stainless no more
