I’m up one minute and down the next

Everything’s a double standard

And I complain to you about everything

So you can blow this off

It’s just a shitty world, honey

But if you‘d only listen,

You’d see:

This isn’t bullshit

This isn’t life

This is me,

These are my problems

You’ve heard it all before

I wouldn’t know how to reply either

But maybe take a second

And cut the crap

Don’t say you care

When you don’t

Don’t say love

When you don’t mean it

Don’t say “best friend”

Unless it’ll last

Maybe if we all just grew up

This wouldn’t be such a damn chore

But we’re just teenagers

We’re eternally stuck in between
