THE REAL JACK AND JILL

Hail King Jack
And his Queen Jill
Also their palace
On their tall hill

Jack never gets water
Therefore he doesn't go down
The hill and fall like normal
To break his crown

And Jill never fell
She's way too humble
To ever go down that hill
Or even tumble

They're an odd pair
Sitting on their butts
Never visiting villagers
In their small huts

Their people hate them
Saying they should die
But Jack just laughs
While Jill bakes pie

They live in peace
Without servants
Who wear colorful tights
Instead of pants

Their palace is large
Too big for only two
But they don't seem to mind
They never really do

Jack and Jill
The oddest pair in town
They dress old-fashioned
You'd mistaken them for clowns

And thus our story ends
With Jack and Jill
Two measly freaks
Upon their tall hill
