LIFELESS OCEAN
The water splashes soundly,
Soaking you to the knees.
Refreshing you,
From all your tempts and pleas.
The full moon shines,
Reflecting in the sea.
The waves begin to crash,
The image having to flee.
Tears fall from the sky,
Mirroring your face.
Slowly walking deeper;
A slow and steady pace.
A knife in your hand,
Dripping with blood.
Water clenses it,
Invading it like a flood.
Slowly and delicately,
The knife is on your wrist
"Down the road not across the street,"
You mumble with a hiss.
A few more cuts.
A few more swipes.
Releasing you
From your bad life.
Your eyes are glazed,
Blood still spilling.
You growl in pain,
Salt water filling.
Finally, you fall,
The darkness taking over,
Thinking of your choice
There could've been another.
You feel yourself fading
From the world you called your home.
Your lifeless body,
On the sea, now free to roam.
Hope you liked it. Review, please. :D
