How is this possible?

How did it come to this?

When and where did I go wrong?

Once upon a time I was in the right frame of mind,

I thought there was happily ever after,

But when I turned the corner

It became happily never after.

Where did I go wrong?

Was it when I said yes to what I knew wasn’t right,

Or was it when I walked away and blocked everything from my mind?

How did I get here?

And is it possible to return to the state I was once in; the state where I belong?

I’d like to know where I went wrong,

Where I let go of everything I knew was true,

Where I walked away from what was real.

How did I get here, and how can I go back?

Is it possible to go back again, when I have dropped this far,

When I have reached the bottom of this endless pit?
