Enjoy, and please review; and if you don't quite understand it yet, it will all make perfect sense soon in due time. Please review and I shall be encouraged to write more, and sooner. Asketh, and thou shalt receiveth in abundance. bows Thank you.
Prologue
A Step Forward
We all constantly change who we are. Each time we watch a movie or take a walk in an innocent park, we are introduced to new ideas. As we age, we change into something else with our maturing minds. All evolve continually, despite any fierce attempts otherwise. We transform ourselves to fit or fight peers, concepts, ideals, and society. I discover a new person each time I catch a glimpse of that same puppet in the mirror. I am continually being sculpted, adding more, subtracting some. Hopefully the one at the end of these pages would draw from the last leaf that we live not for the fleeting thoughts of others. You live your life, you are responsible for each move, and you alone should decide with your freely-granted free will the course of your life's map. I suppose to shed more light of my speech, I should welcome you to my corner of the universe, my own world, distinctly separate from where you live; I do believe yours is called Earth, if I am not mistaken. Then where exactly do I live?
Fear not, it is neither the moon nor Jupiter, nor any other known planet. It is thus untitled, but I often call it Narnia or Karangenan, or perhaps some other name when I feel I wish to go somewhere else. I do visit your home often; but I find more hate, bias, sycophantism, and conformity than I would like. Breathing it terribly long clouds my liberated lungs and independent mind. My complete attention used to be focused on returning to it, but now I am wary. The world may not listen to your cries for renewal. We stand for what is right, even when we stand alone. Many take satisfaction in knowing their precise destination.
I would summarize myself and foreshadow that which would lie ahead, but on all marvelous journeys, one knows not the next step until foot meets inviting earth. I never did when I began, and quite reluctantly so. We certainly shall venture into my extraterrestrial sphere. It may not even be spherical today. I feel I must warn that you will encounter individual specimen on this voyage. I cordially welcome all who would come aboard my dearly beloved ship, the Echo, as we traverse the cosmos and seek new destinations. The structures of the blueprints are in your palms. What is our next step in life?
Ahem...please, please review...I do so love them, and the plot bunnies need them for food, else they will starve. I have most of it planned out, so please review and bear with me!
