Utopia

Thoughts that linger in my window,

Plain to those on both sides

Of the story.

Chasing me in shame,

So I lie hidden in the empty grave,

Holding onto the one last thing that I possess

A place where I can feel my wings,

Whilst I soar in the sky,

Where my eyes are laughing,

Because I have my sanity.

A time when I have no binding,

So I hold back the sun,

When I have no memory,

Pure bliss of oblivion.

But I can not clutch too long,

Hidden secrets find my mind,

Memories constraining me,

Away from forgetting,

Away from tranquil nothingness.

Though I can still barely hold my solitary secret,

I know I will soon drown again,

Into my utopia.
