Night
& Rose
Demon &
Woman story-line
She watched through the open window at the moon. It was full. White. Big. Just as it was when she met him. She would have never thought it would come to this… and this quickly. The wind was picking up, blowing her long black hair in her face. She left the window and walked over to the nightstand. She eyed the bed painfully.
If you don’t do this by midnight tonight, he’ll vanish back into his world.
She quickly looked away. When she made that wish 4 days ago, she didn’t expect him to just appear. She brushed her hair back. But he did. She remembers so vividly:
------------------------------------------
She was crying, staring at the full moon. Like a sad wolf, he teary eyes never left the huge glowing circle in the night sky. She was thinking out loud.
“What a damn jerk! I can’t believe… I can’t…”
The wind whistled a gentle melody calmly, smoothly.
“I… wish that the perfect… guy… would just… come and be with me.”
The wind’s howl hardened and rustled the leaves. The sweater she was wearing was much too big for her slim figure. It blew with the wind. She began to get cold.
“What a horrible day… sucks…”
And then, as if it couldn’t get worse, it started raining. Gently at first but it didn’t take long before rain was pouring from the black ominous clouds. She huddled her arms against her chest. She jogged back to the door but paused.
Do I really want to go back in? Where He is? Where He is with Her? She grabbed the door knob. I’ll go in, get my things, and just leave. He won’t even cross my path.
She turned the handle but…
No…
She jiggled the handle violently.
It’s… It’s locked!
She looked fearfully at the glass window that was covered by closed blinds. The party music was blasting through the walls, the bass shaking the ground. She pulled back her hand and shoved them both in her sweater pockets. They would never hear her pathetic knocking. She looked over the railing at the ground. How high up was she?
“Too high to risk jumping.”
she murmured to herself. She tucked her chin in her baggy black sweater and sat on the stone bench. She kept her eyes down. The rain was pounding on her head, mockingly. She felt every single one.
Every drop that hits me is one time that the fucker-jerk trips over himself. Yes…
She smiled weakly.
And She gets pregnant.
She waited for the next drop to hit her but it didn’t come.
Just when I was enjoying myself too…
She looked up but was startled. She didn’t see clearing clouds. She saw a huge wing. She gasped loudly. It was immense. Huge. Long and an eerie shade of red. She shot off of the bench and saw what it came from. A young man was standing there, stretching it out. He was using it as an umbrella. She didn’t know what to think or say. He folded his wing comfortably behind him. He had dark blonde hair and was very fit-looking. He was muscular but also slender. She blushed. He was extremely attractive. She shook the thought immediately, though.
Men are disgusting.
He only smiled and said, “I’m not one of them.”
She widened her eyes.
He read my… I’m seeing him… He’s not real.
“But I am. You made a wish?” he said softly.
She breathed in the damp air.
“Yes.” she said, her voice cracked.
“I was sent by the gods. They have been watching you and they decided… that I’m the perfect one for you.”
She cleared her throat, swallowing hard, making the lump in it go away. She scoffed harshly.
“There is no ‘perfect one’!” she said.
He walked closer then shook his blonde hair, as a wet dog would.
“That’s not what the gods thought.”
She didn’t budge.
What is this guy trying to pull? He takes one more step…
“And you’ll what?”
She flinched back, staring at him, wildly annoyed.
“How are you doing that?!?” she asked.
He grinned and stretched his arm out in front of her. He had a strong arm. He tightened his fist and then shot out his index finger. Then he waved it side to side.
“No, no. Can’t tell you.”
Her head sunk back into her sweater.
You’re an ass-face just like all the other dumb guys. Can you hear this? Huh? Dumb-fuck?
He laughed lightly and rubbed his bangs out from his face and looked at her. She blushed again. His face was sharp but his eyes were soft and a calm shade of blue. His expression was an ‘Of course I can hear you and I choose not to respond to your stupidity’face. She looked back down at the ground. It was very wet, puddles everywhere. He stood next to her and looked at the moon, his neck outstretched. She stole a glance.
What the hell?!? His neck… it’s… perfect… why is he so damn perfect?
He again offered a light grin and then got up and stood in front of her. He offered his hand.
“Hello, Rose. I am Night. I am yours.”
She took his hand, hesitantly.
Is this real?
He looked at her with admiration.
Yes, Rose. This is real. I’m real. And I’m yours.
--------------------------------------------------------
She wiped her eyes. She was crying. Just because she remembered when he first came to her. She loved Night. Even though they had know each other so briefly, he had already completely revealed himself to her, protected her, and supported her. It was unbelievable.
If you don’t do this by midnight tonight, he’ll vanish back into his world. A demon was not meant to live in the human world but if you do this… he’ll transform into a man.
She sat on the foot end of the bed, legs crossed. She didn’t want him to leave but was she ready to do this? She brought up her arm and looked at the watch on her wrist. The neon green light blared: 10:48 p.m.
----------------------------------------------
“It’s getting late…” he said aloud to himself.
He looked around. The streets were empty. He looked up at her window. The light was on. He looked closer. He saw a figure pacing back and forth.
And a beautiful figure as well, who, could only be Rose.
He closed his eyes tight as he breathed in deeply.
I’ll just… hm? Mm… too many thoughts… I can’t read any. They’re too scrambled.
He re-opened his eyes. She was confused. She didn’t know what to do. He lowered his eyes to the cement and sat down on her stoop.
It’s her choice and I respect her decision. But… I digress… I will miss her.
He brought his chin to his relaxed fist and thought.
And for what? Just for me to be a man? Something that she said she despises? But… I have thought of… no, bad, bad.
He cracked his neck casually. Demon’s were to be severely punished for thinking of humans in that way… but he was put in an awkward situation. The gods are allowing him to. They wanted him to and, it didn’t take long, he was. Every time he saw her. He couldn’t help but have that urge. The urge of just running up to her and holding her delicate body… to keep it going for as long as possible because when it was over, they’d both be hurt. Or, at least he would. He eyed the window again.
What are you thinking? Calm down and let me see. I need to know.
He eyed the large moon, the off-white orb of illumination. He dropped his head to his right shoulder and admired it. For some reason, it made him feel a certain longing. He really wanted to do this. Not to be human but to experience it with her. He loved her. He stood up tall and returned his eyes to the black silhouette in the window. She wasn’t pacing anymore but instead looking out through the glass. He was startled at first but relaxed when he saw what she was looking at. The moon.
Alright, I guess… I’ll go then.
He slowly walked to the oak door and grasped the gold colored knob. He twisted it and then walked in, each step bringing another thought to his head.
I want to stay here with her. What is she going to choose? Man has hurt her too much. Why would she do this just for that? But, she has been happier these past days. I can see it.
He reached the stairs and began to walk up them.
Why did the Gods choose me? Why me?
He reached her bedroom door but paused. Instead of taking the door knob, he only looked at it.
What is wrong? What am I expecting?
He leaned close to the door and put his forehead on it, depressingly. He grabbed the knob and spoke into the wood.
“I… I’m coming in.” he said dryly.
No response. He twisted the handle and pushed it open. He came in and closed the door behind him. Silence. He put his arms around his back and looked to the floor. She stood at the foot end of the bed, her weight on one leg. He spoke first.
“Look, if you don’t want to do this-”
“But… I do!”
He blushed and stared at her, not believing what he just heard. She blushed as well.
“I mean, I don’t want you to leave… I… love-”
He rushed up next to her and put his finger to her mouth.
“Save it.” he said harshly, wrapping his arms around her.
“I don’t want to leave either.”
“So, we’re going to do this?” she asked.
He nodded.
“That’s all up to you.”
“Then…ok. I choose…”
He waited patiently.
“We… should…”
He tightened his grip on her. She closed her eyes as the message scrolled in her head.
You’re doing this… you’re doing this… this.
--------------------------------------------------
Rose, clear your thoughts. Don’t think. Just act.
She was startled at first. She had forgotten that he was able to read her thoughts like this. She let out a heavy sigh as he gently removed her shirt, pulling it over her head. He dropped it to the floor.
But, there’s too much to think about. I can’t stop. I have to plan.
Night smiled as he walked her to the bed.
Don’t plan. Follow my lead.
He laid her down and slid her baggy black pants off. She closed her eyes. He stood at the edge of the bed; looking. She had matching undergarments on. Black with red lace. He swallowed hard.
No wonder a demon is perfect for you, Rose. You’re no angel.
She felt her cheeks get warm as she watched him undress. He left his white dress shirt on but his black pants were off. He had on black boxer shorts that were cut about 6 inches up from the knee. He climbed on the bed, near her. The mattress crunched and she turned her face away from him. He was over her now; his knees on the outside of her legs and his hands stable on the bed near her head. He bent down and kissed her neck. She kept her mouth shut tight.
Don’t think, don’t think, don’t think.
While kissing, he moved his strong hand down to the side of her waist and brought it up to her mid-back. She still kept quiet.
No… no, I will not. Night…
He raised his eyebrow, moving his hand to her stomach and up.
What? Do you not want to continue?
She shook her head.
I don’t know… I can’t stop thinking.
He placed his hand just below her breast.
Clear your mind… this won’t be enjoyable for either of us if you don’t clear you mind.
She still kept her face turned to the side. She couldn’t bare looking at him. He quickly took notice. With his exploring hand he took her face and nudged it forward.
Rose, that’s disrespectful… your eyes on mine… the entire time.
She looked at him and his eyes were serious. They were half open but the gaze was still powerful. She nodded and dropped her eyelids as he went for another kiss ,but, only this time in was on her lips. As hard as she tried to keep them shut, her lips dropped open and his tongue entered her mouth. Like a snake, it twisted and turned inside and she did the same with hers. She didn’t mind this. It wasn’t this that was making her nervous. She had kissed before but never went passed the objective. Never in bed.
Night, why are you holding back?
He removed his tongue and craned his neck down and kissed the middle of her chest. Breaking her promise, she closed her eyes.
Because you and I both know that we’re not ready for it yet.
She reached up and held onto him tightly. He dropped his head; his blonde hair draped on her breasts. He went back up and kissed her on the lips again while he moved his hand back to her body, specifically her legs. As he ran his hand up them, he could feel his blood drop down to his lower half. He leaned closer to her; to the side of her face. This time, she turned her head and kissed him on his cheek, close to his ear. He sighed deeply as he got even closer, his skin pressing against hers. On her leg she could feel it. Beneath his boxers, his groin was hard.
He’s ready but… am I?
She started to unbutton his shirt slowly. He looked in her eyes the whole time.
Are you, Rose?
She didn’t answer. She was trying to clear her mind. She slipped his shirt off over his back. He had a medium build that was very attractive. With his free hand he unbuttoned the slit in his boxers. She turned away as it was pulled out. She did not want to look. He bent down and kissed her stomach. Then, gently and carefully, he slid her underwear off; below her knees. She returned her eyes to his, not wanting to disappoint him.
Are you?
She responded with her eyes. The look from them said “Yes” but in uncertainty. He breathed deeply, then lowered himself into her. She let out a gasp but he quickly covered her mouth with his and replaced it with a low moan. The tone of his voice caused her cheeks to flush pink. With his mouth still covering hers, he slowly went up then back down. Even though it was hard, she kept her mouth shut; sounds inside. In. She moved her hands to the back of his neck and held on. Out. Unable to hold it, a small “Uhn.” escaped her mouth. In. Night brought his head down again as he looked at her through his crimson eyes.
Don’t be afraid…
Out.
…To make a little noise.
A soft sigh left her. The pleasure of release consumed Rose as she let out another moan. Her voice made his hair stick up. He picked up the pace but not too much; not too sudden. Gradually. Her eyes began to heavy again. She leaned forward for a kiss and he gave her one instantly. Up close, she saw that he was beginning to perspire lightly. She went back down, feeling her forehead. It was the same for her too. He continued his constant movement. She made an inviting sound this time. Night placed his lips on her neck; kissing roughly. She stretched her neck far so he could cover more ground. His tongue glided over to her shoulder, then to her chest. She, hands still on his neck, brought them up and combed through his thick hair with her fingers. He continued. She spoke quietly, softly.
“Do if faster… harder.”
He looked at her soft eyes and raised his eyebrow in surprise.
I don’t want to hurt you, Rose.
She breathed in a large amount of air through clenched teeth.
“But I want you too.”
He shook his head.
I don’t want to hurt you.
In.
“Do it. I dare you…" she said as she reached for his neck again.
She was entirely consumed now. No more timid Rose. Hesitantly, he went faster and deeper. She brought his head to her chest as her pleasured voice flowed from her lips. Out. Night’s mind began to blur. His thoughts turned fuzzy and he couldn’t understand why.
Rose?
She didn’t seem to care. He called for her in his thoughts again but still no response. She had done it. She had cleared her mind and was blocking everything out. Night smiled as looked at her face; her full lips and her flushed cheeks. With her smooth delicate hands she brought his face up to hers and brought it to the side. She kissed the side of his face and played with his ear. In. He smiled lightly as he looked at her again and took another kiss. Their lips fit together as if they were made for that purpose, and that purpose only. She breathed her moist breath on his neck.
“Night… I love you.”
Pressure. He didn’t see it coming until later but he couldn’t hold it anymore. She had aroused him too well. He closed his eyes forcefully and hung his head back; his mouth dropped open.
Rose! I tried to hold it off but I can’t contain it anymore!
She kept her head down but looked at him; his head slung back in unimaginable pleasure.
What? Night? Is this-
She watched him lurch forward with his eyes wide; between her legs grew warm
- the end? Almost… done?
He closed his eyes as he felt the liquid rush out. At this point, she also arched forward, her stomach fitting against his; bare skin touching. Again, it was the pleasure of release. The feeling of letting something go that was painful to hold. With nothing left, he lifted his head and looked at her. Her lips were apart, as if she didn’t process what happened. He could feel something going on inside his soul. He couldn’t distinguish it. Painfully, he dropped to her side, mouth still open. Her face was away from his; panting. She didn’t know what to do or say. It was over. Done. He didn’t have to leave. He never would. She reached down and pulled the cover up, sheltering them from the sudden cold.
A demon was not meant to live in the human world but if you do this… he’ll transform into a man. He’ll become human and will stay on earth. He’ll stay with you always.
Suddenly, Night hugged her and brought his lips to her neck. She looked at him though the corner of her eyes. Where his pupils were blood-red, it was now emerald green. A color that seemed to fit him even more than the red. He breathed into her neck with hot moist air.
Rose, thank you. You released me. No longer a demon, but as a man… I’m yours… and I am grateful.
