luminous thoughts

--

he said smiles she wore reflect serene nights:
behind him, vast uncertainties realize.
beside her, brilliant scenes set in flight,
and laughter filled their enchanted goodbyes.

she said dreams he had shown splendid moonrise:
he painted skies gold under the starlight;
she wished for changes by the sunrise,
and slowly vanished rights to say goodnight.

he said soft trees flourish with her delight:
as he watched for meek moments in time,
she vividly danced for this perfect night,
and recorded forever their love by chimes.

she embraced effulgent stars (hopes -- caress),
he cherished luminous thoughts (hopes -- express).
