A/N: This is a poem I wrote for my Comm Arts class. I like the way it came out of the wash, so I decided to post it here. Read and review, please.

“Citadel of Memory”

The golden orb smiles upon her face

Through thy windows glass-stained like lace.

The temple of time in my mind doth trap her image

In thy chamber and hath begged for her notice.

Thou hast the beauty of thy flower lotus.

Your breath doth linger upon thy barren lips

And thy own self desires your sweet kiss

Even as I sleep in silent bliss.
