Pay Back’s a Bitch

This is for all those times you picked on me, made fun of me, and beat me up just for looking at you Andrew said as he threw another punch directly into the bully’s face. He felt the bully’s nose break as he finished the punch. The once powerful bully lay in a pool of his own blood. He was covered in as much blood as he was in regret. After the first few punches to his face he stopped trying to talk his way out of the situation. Hey, why’d you get so quiet? Andrew sarcastically asked. He kicked the bully in the stomach as hard as he could. Everyone has there breaking point, and it looks like I reached mine all because of you. If you ever come near me again I’ll kick your ass twice as hard as I just did. On that note Andrew spit on the bully and walked away. The bully just lay there and twitched a few times.

The Date

It took him over a week to finally do it, but Ben finally asked Kelly on a date. He was on his way to her house when it hit him. What if she’s only going out with him because she feels bad for him? He pulled the car over and started to think. Okay, so when I asked her if she’d like to see a movie with me she said “Sure, I’ll go with you.” She technically never said she actually wanted to go with me. Oh man, I’m so screwed. This is such a pity date. Wait, I got it. I’ll just have to impress her and then when she sees how cool I am she’ll end up actually wanting to go out with me. What if I screw it up? Wait! No, I have to try. Ben put the car back into drive and continued his way to Kelly’s house.

A Tragic Deception

“How’s he doing?” the father asked, as the doctor read his notes. The doctor looked up.

“Well…I’m afraid he’s not doing too well at the moment. His chances of recovery will certainly increase if the medication works, so there’s still plenty of hope.” The doctor looked back down at his notes.

“If there is anything else you can do, money is not an issue,” the father pleaded.

“I’m sorry sir we’ve done all we can at the moment. All we can do at this point is wait and then plan the next move from there.”

“I can’t believe this is happening.” The father sat down in the chair closest to him. “Can I at least sit with him alone?”

“Certainly, I’ll come back in a few minutes.” The doctor walked out of the room and went down the hall. The father stood and approached his only son. He leaned over the edge of the bed right next to his son. His eyes began to water as he tried to hold the tears back.

“Son, can you hear me? The teenage boy began to stir.

“D-dad? Is that you?”

“Yes, it’s me son…and I’m sorry.”

“It wasn’t your fault Dad.”

“Oh, but it is…” The father pinched his son’s nose and placed his other hand over his son’s mouth. His son’s eyes grew large as he desperately tried to breath. He held his son as he looked into his eyes. After a few minutes his son’s eyes grew dark and lifeless as he heard the satisfying sound of the long beep. He let go of his son and slowly walked out of the room with a smile as he thought of the bills he’s pay off with the life insurance.
