Leap of Faith

The cow jumped over the shining moon

and the Man in the Moon said ‘hi’

and he winked to see her sailing past

with a gleam in his silver eye.

The sky was eerily lit that night;

a cow-shaped cloud went by.

A frowning farmer shook his head,

to think that cows could fly.

But up in the sky with his twinkling eye,

the Man in the Moon looked down,

and he laughed a silver, silent laugh

to see that farmer frown.
