Author's Note:
This is only the synopsis (outline) of the script I am writing for a film. I hope you like the idea!
Sorry the type is so small, I'll correct it when I have time.
Enjoy!
Summary: Synopsis of a gangster story that will be written like a play/film script. Diarmuid O'Connel is an Irish gang boss in 1930s Boston and Siobhan is his friend. This story is about when Robert "Bobby" Newton arrives from Chicago to work for him. Sorry about the crap summary, it's hard to describe this one. It's actually not a book, it's screenplay for a film. The script should be up soon.

Synopsis
Diarmuid O'Connel is a gang-leader from Ireland. Well-known and feared by many, the only person with any control over him is his friend, Siobhan. However his past enmity for the gang know as The Fish, (or possibly the New York Mafia) will soon return to haunt him.
Boston, 1930s. A man comes to O'Connel. Robert Newton, a hitman from Chicago, says he is seeking work. An unintelligent man, Newton is not an instant favourite with O'Connel or Siobhan, but he seems useful enough. Obtuse as he appears, however, Siobhan is not altogether convinced by his act. Nonetheless O'Connel has too much on his mind to worry about Newton; The Fish have reared their ugly heads again, and they haven’t forgotten O'Connel.
Diarmuid’s past involvement with The Fish is not common knowledge, nor is the reason for their hostility towards him. All that is known is that they are serious. A young man, an affiliate of O'Connel’s goes missing; captured and tortured by The Fish for information concerning O'Connel’s whereabouts. He knows nothing of importance and is killed. However their next target is not so misinformed; they know of O'Connel’s friendship wish Siobhan and now she is top on their list. Luckily O'Connel realises this and manages to get Siobhan to safety before The Fish can take her prisoner.
During this time Newton has proved his proficiency at his job. He keeps to himself and seems just as slow on the uptake as ever, but at the same time he is keeping himself under the radar. Also, in the anxiety of being top on The Fish’s ‘most wanted’ list, he slips from Siobhan’s mind. No one realises quite how dangerous he could be working for the wrong people until it’s too late…
