Coming Out
I’m hiding this inside,
Though I want you to know.
But I’m afraid,
Of what you will say.
Your ways are different,
From some things I believe:
Like love is love,
Gender doesn’t matter.
And I am scared,
Of the look on your face,
When I tell you,
My last, dark secret.
Please know that truly,
I will always love you,
That no boy or girl,
Can ever stop something so strong.
Will I repulse you,
With this secret deep inside?
Can you love someone,
Who hates being confined?
I know you may turn your back,
And never look over your shoulder.
But there is also a chance,
That you might stay.
All I ask of you,
Is to still love me,
And not be repulsed,
By my bisexuality.
