Pandora’s Lust.

Let’s take this little box
And open to see what’s inside.
We’ll pry the lid open with a knife
The same used for a suicide.

Creaking, the dust emits from the opened chest.
Snatch back to safety the one you love
Feel the chill rise over your neck and spine
Drink in the bittersweet toxin like a drug.

Shifting the weigh to and fro.
The scales will never equalize.
We fall into each unfathomable ache.
And arching backs shall brush the sky.

Slide the liquor into your red mouth.
Your lover’s tongue fills your kiss.
Sweetly, you open the doors wider,
And fall deep into the darker bliss

So drowned in this infinite lust
Soon our movements will synchronise.
Idiosyncrasies we accept as our lover’s bane.
And soon under touch we are paralysed.

The case of darkness you stole we opened
And we released the Pandora’s blight.
We slip into each other, hand to flesh.
And sail our love through the lonesome night.

The moon rises as our hearts fall.
And we share what warm remains.
Immortal, this night lives on forever.
And in desire, we shall remain.
