Legos

How does anyone

Not like to use

Those small blocks called Legos

To build what they choose?

Worlds unimaginable

Built from these tiny blocks

Using each Lego

That comes from the box.

Great tiny palaces

Or small pirate ships

Watch your tallest stack

Slowly start to tip.

Crash goes your tower,

Pieces fly everywhere

But you just shrug your shoulders:

You don’t seem to care.

“Pick them all up”

Your mother says with a yell

“Or I’ll hit you so much

That your rear end will swell.”

So you pick them all up

And put them away

And sit down waiting

For the next Lego day.
