I Dream of an Angel

Nothing is just what it seems
Im off again into a dream

I dreamt of an angel once before
But never was I quite so sure

Maybe this time this one will stay
At least for just another day

He dried my tears, now there's no trace
Of any sadness on my face

Strong arms wrapped so gently
Around my body, protecting me

Amazing angel with dark eyes
Beautiful wings and heart inside

Eventually, he'll turn and leave
Taking away my security

Until then I'll just hold him tight
Don't let me wake up and end this night
