I really want to know what you think of this, because I'm unable to explain it. But it definitely is a favourite poem written by myself. Read and review!

DOUBLE DARE

Grey clouds slowly descending

Words written in lines, whispering softly: Dare you?

The field a green rolling wave

I lay down, and drown, the only puddle of blue

Thunder booming in the distance

Verses chant a dangerous anthem: Dare you?

My eyelids shudder, soap petals falling

Moisture condenses, repents, parts in two

Heavy now, the sky is breaking

Chapters flip rapidly through the air: Dare you?

My chest rises and falls with each clap

My fingers grasp, unclasps, sweating glue

Rain falls and drenches me in a second

Dusty, dreary books repeat, repeat: Dare you?

My body struggles, stifles, still

If only - if only he knew
