Meaning Of Rain
The darkness engulfes as it does at night,
No matter the time of the day,
To disable any from taking flight,
It's deadliest weapon makes way,
-
The pitter patter is rythmic and soft,
As the earth, by the droplets, is pound,
Millions and millions of siblings aloft,
But they always reach the ground,
-
Though barely is noticed against the rest,
A light mist does arise from the street,
It engulfs the earth floor, a transparent white nest,
A ground cloud for our ponders to meet,
-
At the top, they all start as a single giant,
Then each break away as millions of ones,
Through millions and millions, each one is defiant,
Yet all whole into one single run,
-
Forming puddles in all the best spots,
Building up one by one, bit by bit,
New parts dropping down with temporary dots,
Becoming one, in a perfect fit,
-
The drumming of each as they all hit the roof,
Vibrating throughout the whole of the house,
The calming and peacefulness makes one aloof,
Water and thoughts, mind and ground it can douse,
-
I stare out the window, entranced by the fall,
And all of my troubles are gone,
Hatred and tragedy all fail to call,
It all washed away by the dawn,
-
When the clouds put and end to their gift,
And the darkness has reached it's light end,
The last of them fall from the roofs in a drift,
To allow a new miracle in,
-
The reflection of light,
Way up in the sky,
Brings a beautiful sight,
And a meaningful sighn,
-
All the colors are woven together,
Into an mastless, endless bridge,
A magical beauty, built by the weather,
To the sky, it does well to fringe,
-
That is the sky, where we always look,
But try lookind down for once,
The ground may be even greater a hook,
The true miracle chances to bunce,
-
Nature's results after such a hard task,
Shows the blooming of life at it's best,
The grass, the trees, the flowers, unmasked,
Among all the raindrops, they rest,
-
Everything we know about rain,
Gives off meanings like nothing else might,
It's the power to wash away all of the pain,
And make way for the birth new life.
