And as I listen to this serenade,
I suddenly remember you.
Your love, your warmness, your smile
Shouldn’t have let you go
Oh, I shouldn’t have let you go.

Do you remember me?
Do you remember the days?
The laughs, the joy
The touch of your hands on mine
Oh, I shouldn’t have let you go.

And your eyes
They do haunt me so
Dear, please forgive me
Oh, why did I go astray?

I see your face everywhere I go,
For what we had was true.
And my misery is the effect of my falter.
So as each day goes by,
I am reminded that I’ll be without your grace.
And I’ll forever miss your embrace.
Oh, dear, I regret letting go.
