HOUSE

Haven’t truly slept in years

Been caught up in scars and tears

Trapped within this dark house

Trapped just like a little mouse.

These barren halls

Drowned in coldest calls

Follow me, yet I’m in them

Catch my eye just like a gem.

Fascinated I stay in

Don’t see the house’s evil grin

Caught I am in a trap

Wait from the beast to snap.

I know the joy but choose

To keep this hated ruse.

This house, my death and pain,

Do you think of me insane?
