The Second Seduction

Inspired by Bram Stoker's Dracula

Though countless minds,

Eves near hearts scramble,

Bellow low and cower

Scenes played sick by their kind;

Heartless and melting with the candle;

Innocent to die by wonder.

(o)

Your awe, feeds me,

Eager menace,

Insanity, for their passion,

Is read by monster's faces,

Carried, Courted,

Upraised in decaying earth

Like the worms malaised below,

Consume the living,

Delivering screams long gone,

Quietly dissolving within his mirth.

(o)

Taking the life,

Eating it slow,

Now he upon me,

I felt my flow,

Disintegrate.

(o)

Courteus, my own,

Abandoning, my earth,

Denowned within these dusty walls,

Imprisoned by the mirth.

(o)

I wander.

Reflections, don't dare touch me.

Simplest by lust,

Your easier than much,

By that weakness called desire.

(o)

Listen,

Close to my hollow chest,

A blackness no mortal could angst against.

The fellows of worms delivering the fright,

Bright violet purple worms, living upon my food.

The dead, lolling head,

Tied sharply the ships wheel,

Steers nightmares, and black animals,

The dog shadow and shape,

Be your suicide and scissor.

The blade loves nothing,

And yet longs for your blood.

(o)

Cave in,

Leave all to me.

A fear

A softness

A darkness

Complete motions without doubt or hesitance.

Take me as your ending,

Make up all that your gothic dreams love,

And what the Shinigami told us to bring.

Flies in the night,

And demon hunters lost behind us within the black wood.

(o)

Sift bearings,

Mounds of shifting earth,

Digest the dead slow, like our dance,

Becomes a circle lead by freely,

Cowered low, under pale chin and breath...

(o)

...the end, your sins asleep and filled,

Within me.
