A Rose From Heaven
If a rose did fall from
heaven,
It should like to fall
to you.
For things of beauty
are relative,
To what they’re
placed next to.
Your beauty is so
stunning;
The rose could not go
without,
A brush against your
lips,
The soothing of your
touch.
So many places in this
world,
Abound with fragrance
true.
But the most lovely
scent in all the world,
Is the one that
surrounds you.
Often have I thought of
you,
While under starry
skies.
I’ve dared to hope to
know your touch,
But have never dared to
try.
You are far beyond my
reach,
And there is nothing I
can do.
Most simply cannot
understand,
That my heart is just
for you.
For my dear you’re
near an angel,
Celestial indeed.
The Closest thing to
heaven,
That I will ever see.
