He pulled down her branch and
Sunk his teeth into her flesh
Newborn skin crawling across
Bittersweet red
As juices flow from the wound
Of tainted perfection
And poison drenches his tongue
Licking at her brokenness
She wraps her arms around
The cold form she wants to cling to
So she can run away
Instead of facing the world
But silent fingers unlatch
Her pretty n pink nail polish
Slender hands grasping at
The thin air, but it's too late
She's already falling
