The pain I feel so well
It teaches me obeisance
To the motions of my age
To the bitching of my mistress
Has the earth removed the place
Of the hearkened summer morning?
Or has movies' greatest loss
Been the founding of the nation?

Mentally insane means
Something different from
Illusioned, and the master
Of the day means something
More than my contusions
Serve you well from the day
That inaugurated beauty
Cries goodbye, walks away
Shakes the hand of Ellsworth Toohey

In the art of deceit
We have mastered all the tools of
Which we sung, prostrate
In contagion with the fools that
Founded Eden in our heads
Planted trees of knowledge and
Society's constraints
To be sure we didn't eat the
Fruit of what we could be
We're nothing more than guanine
