Allusions about Illusions

The girl’s apperception:

Looking in the mirror I see what I hate

And hate what I see.

Wish that wasn’t the image that

Continued to haunt my meals.

If only the mirror would crack

And shatter, destroying my eyes

So that I could finally be blind.

The boy’s apperception:

Looking in the mirror,

I create her beautiful image beside me

She is a goddess, there is no comparison

To her unearthly beauty.

She has the key to my heart

And the doors to my soul.

If only she could see.

The enemy’s apperception:

I hate, despise, and detest her.

I am praised, famous, liked

And though, I am not.

I wish I could look like her

She’s is not famous

But confident in her beauty

She is able to see so well

Where I am eyeless.

The girl:

There she is, the popular one

Here I am—wishing to be dead.

The boy:

There she is, the angel

Here I am—wishing to be loved.

The enemy:

There she is, the secure one

Here I am—wishing to be her.

A/N: In case some of you don't get who 'she' is, 'the enemy' and 'the boy' are both talking about 'the girl'.
