In my mind

I hold you close yet you’re so far

I hear your voice yet my heart heeds none

My mind is reeling in this mental war

My once seamless sense is starting to run

The problem is not at all with you

The dilemma is mine alone to keep

But what a thought…if you only knew

My days without sense and nights without sleep
