I put my dream in a box.

S.A.G.M.

2007

So I put my dream in a box,

After wiping off my tears with it.

I put my dream in a box,

After folding all my grieves in it.

Oh, oh ah. I told myself to forget, forget.

Oh, oh ah. I told myself to forget.

000

So I put the box out of sight,

I placed it on a very high shelf.

I put the box out of sight

And let my mind to wander freely.

Oh, oh ah. I told myself to forget, forget.

Oh, oh ah. I told myself to forget.

000

But my dream was still much alive

It made a fearsome racket in the closet

It was still much alive. And it

Slithered out to hunt me all over again.

Oh, oh ah. I told myself to forget, forget.

Oh, oh ah. I told myself to forget.

000

Though I push it way out of sight

It comes back and stabs me again.

It kicks the air out of me again.

And it's impossible to keep it in a box.

Oh, Oh, Ah. I'd told myself to forget, forget.

I'd told myself to forget.

But it's no use.
