dashboard drones in the background. living vicariously through love songs. drum a beat here and there and the tune is complete. melodies seeped in like cigarette circles. and it becomes a cancer stick – addictedinflicted for you. you can't drain your blood of nicotine or the ratpoison. you can't drain your blood of the love. you can't drain your memories of the love. reminiscing becomes deadly – an addiction. an infliction.
