There are moments
when I love you
more than anything else
your kindness and love for me
wrap me up and hold me close
I never want to leave you
all I want to do is spend eternity
hand in hand with you

But other moments
I hate you your actions
your ability to lie to me
and make me bleed
with just one look
how much control you have
over my emotions scares me
and I want to escape your grasp

If only I felt one way
about you if one emotion
would overpower the other
I could make a decision
but my feelings are a tennis ball
and your two sides are
hitting me back and forth
bruising me with every stroke
my bright color being worn down
until finally I am to weak to even think
