A few years ago

There, behind the shadows, stood the Dark Force. Akane's flashlight shown bright, and the black depths appeared to move back. The light seemed to agitate the Dark. A lot.

Akane, having no idea what the Dark Force was, wondered why a couple of feet in front of her was all pitch black. The rest of her basement was no longer visible.

"It's like the wall is just absorbing the light...it's so dark; I can't even see the wall."

The young high schooler was soon going to learn the ways of the mysterious powers the Dark Force held.

So! How was that? It sounds kind of cheesy, but I was kind of aiming for that deep male voice narrator for this, the prologue-type-thing. :D
And so I'm pretty sure this chappe's editing is all done. ! For any of you new readers, trust me when I say the story isn't always written like this. I guess you could say it gets better as it goes on. Enjoy the rest, but I advise not to read until tomorrow! I shall be done editing 2 & 3 by then ;D
