Transparent Wall
You know the time when we see a person that’s evil and doesn’t seem to have any feelings so we call them cold-hearted? Or have you heard the term ‘heart made of steel’? Is it true (literally)? Or if someone said that our hearts are surrounded by a steel wall, can it be (literally)?
If it’s real then these walls are keeping us from being open to other people, making us self-centered. We don’t show ourselves to people around us and we suffer from it. We always longed for freedom and to break free; you know, break the wall open.
But, the first question that comes to mind is: how?
Destroying a steel wall takes a long time and special equipments. We cannot just hit it with something vulnerable and it breaks. I don’t think the rule of physics allow that (if there is any).
Good thing is, walls have a breaking point (or so I heard). Did you know it? Have you heard of it? Let me give you some information. Breaking point is most likely a certain part of a wall that when it is touched, or destroyed, or hit, the whole wall will crumble.
That leads to another question which is: where?
Can it be seen? I mean, me, as a normal person who has no idea about walls none whatsoever (since I’m not a builder) couldn’t possibly see it, right? Do you even believe that this thick steel wall made of hard metal can be broken just like that?
Impossible, you say? Then how can you destroy something if you don’t believe you can? You’ve had probably failed.
According to my point of view: I don’t see a wall.
I think that my heart (our hearts) is surrounded by an invisible wall, or shall we say a transparent wall. Nobody can see it. Even I can’t see it. Now that, my friends, is even harder to destroy. This type of wall can’t be destroyed even if you believe you can, because you can’t see it.
So what can you do? Who can tumble down the wall?
Well, I know someone. Only one person can break the walls. Only he can see the wall and find the breaking point. He can see these walls without any problem; no effort at all. He can touch the breaking point and the walls will go down as easy as that.
When your heart is no longer surrounded by the wall, it won’t kill you. It will make you look weak, of course, but you will be free. You’re no longer in boundaries. No longer locked in the same place again. No longer think the same way again. No longer see the same view again. You’re free to be who you really are. You’ll become a new person.
However, you have to let that person touch you. You must lead him towards the walls and let him break it down in front of you. You’ll be amazed, I assure you, of how cool and easily he can do it. He won’t force you to let him go near you, no he’s not that kind of person. Instead, he will wait until you call out for him to come to you.
You’re probably wondering who I’m talking about. Maybe you know him, maybe you don’t. Well I gotta be honest with you. That person is Jesus.
Don’t stop reading this because the name Jesus is mentioned here. I just ask you to make a choice: will you walk away and forget all I have said to you, or will you call his name and ask him to break your wall?
I know what I’ll choose. I’ve been waiting to be free.
But what will you chose?
