Mirrors of Ourselves

-

A black tailed fox crosses

the backyard searching for where

the moonlight strikes the weeds

at the steepest angle. I see the

darkness draw closer circles through

the piles of brush. It isn't hiding

if you know your destination. So we

all have symptoms of perfection.
