The tools of her art are traded for the pen,
an exchange made for the words sought.

As the red drop falls it becomes black
before it even hits the new canvas,
releasing a more (socially) acceptable expression
that can be exchanged (yet again) for monetary gains.

(What will you buy with the money, my little prostitute?)
