The dreams we’ve dreamt as we’ve slept

Do our memories echo long forgotten dreams?

To make us forget; is that our brain’s scheme?

Why do we dream if we can not remember

Fiery dreams that are now embers?

Why do our minds make the decision

To make us forget our night-time visions?
