Blindly Searching for Extrication
What are
we worth
In this constant battle
Of what is right and wrong
To
indulge in the fight
That is never ending
That is
unforgiving
That closes our eyes
So we are blind
Presidents
praying to their "God"
Hoping to receive an answer
that
Justifies
Their actions of sin
Kings and Queens only
want
What is best for their own blood
What is right in this
twisted world
What is wrong in this never ending
Chase
For
emancipation
For peace
What have we given
What have we
gained
Just to throw it all away
To begin again
