A Short Break

NO, THAT WAS NOT THE END.

I put JK up after my last installment joke... but I feel that maybe the shock of the last installment may have just thrown everyone off. But I have decided to take a short break from this story. It will be just a few weeks. I'll be writing, or at least trying, and then I'll post the new chapters up. In the meantime, I may start on my new story Crave, just because I'm having so much trouble with writing BDH. I really love this story, which is why I feel that I need to take a break from it. Because I always lose the fire in the middle of my story, and I want this story to be good. So my break is for the best, so I can write something great. Otherwise I feel obligated to write something just to get it out for my readers faster.

I feel bad about having to do this, but I've had trouble with the last two chapters. So I hope everyone doesn't hate me. I won't be MIA, I'll still be here, working away. And I'll post my Crave story soon. I've already got up to Ch. 2 done, and I made a chapter outline for it, which I hope makes it easier to not lose my story in the middle. Crave will be a demonic romance, and I know nothing about demons other than what I've read in other stories. It will be slightly different from what I usually write, but I wrote it so ehh. It was just something I started when I was having trouble with BDH.

Sorry again.

But I will leave everyone with a short something for this break, a teaser of sorts.

oOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOo
"What the fuck do you think you're doing?" came his harsh voice. It sounded scratchy, dry. His face was dark with five o'clock shadow and I realized that he hadn't slept in days. He probably hadn't had a wink of sleep since I had gone missing.

Looking away I coughed, taking another drag from the cigarette. "Sorry, I just thought I'd take a walk. I didn't know the freak in the park was there. At least he saved me before the prick had a chance to rape me, or fuck, kill me." My wry smile sent him over the edge. He slapped the cigarette away; we both watched as it hit the ground, and then he stomped on it.

"You have to get your act together, no more smoking." I watched him with caution, my hands reaching of the pack in my back pocket.

He grabbed my wrists before I could get it out. "I'm serious, no more drugs. You have to stay clean."

Slapping him I turned to walk away, but he held me tight. "When you were in the hospital, they were going to let you go, they were going to take you off the life support; but they didn't. They didn't and do you know why?" His voice made it sound as if he almost cared.

Almost.

Pushing him I wanted to run.

"You’re pregnant."

The dire question, whose baby is it? Well there are only two options.
