No one really knows

What happened that day

All we know is that

They found your body in the woods

We saw it on television

We listened to the stories

It was so unbelievable

Jacob, where are you?

Everything seemed trivial

Even more unbelievable

We all cry out to you

But you will never answer

Where are you now?

Are you in Heaven?

Are you in Hell?

The land of the eternally damned?

Some knew you well

Some only knew your name

We all join together

To express grief and hidden pain

I ventured towards the casket

I see your lifeless body

This isn't you, it can't be

Jacob, where are you?

This is a decoy, only a fake

No, this isn't true

I gently grasp your hand

Now it's completely surreal

Jacob, where are you?

Please come back home

Tell me this is a joke

And take away the agony

You had such a bright future

And talent that would rule the world

The mark on your neck tells all

This definitely isn't a joke

We're screaming our hearts out

Jacob, come back to us

But Fate made a noose

And ripped you away from us

You're not coming back

We can't enjoy your presence

We can only cry our hearts out

Where are you, Jacob?
