It wasn’t her

Fault

That she didn’t

Love you

You weren’t really

That great

To begin

With

You were always

Crying about

Your feelings

And pains

Always looking

To her for

Solace and

Friendship

It wasn’t her

Fault

That you decided to

Love her

You weren’t really

Verbal about

It and she didn’t

Understand

To her, you were

An afterthought

And she wasn’t to

Be bothered

To her, you were

A burden and she

Had sacrificed too

Much already

It wasn’t her

Fault

That you couldn’t let

Go

And, in the last

Attempt to hold

On, you fell deeper into

Loving her

So now

That she refuses

You, you stand alone

Ready to end

And not

That you know it’s

Over, you make plans

To never open again

It wasn’t her

Fault

That you were

Weak

To her, you

Could get over

It, and love

Again

To her, you

Would be okay

And learn to be

Strong

But, to you

The damage she left

Behind was too much

To clean

It wasn’t her

Fault

That you’re no longer

Here

The reality too

Hard to comprehend

The pain too deep to

Console

And at that

She was crushed

Finally she

Was crushed
