Lady Of The Rains

The Lady Of The Rains

dances like living prose,

and sings a lovely, wordless song

that no one but she knows.

Her sight brings us love,

but Her absence brings us pain;

Our Heart, Our Guide, Our Mother,

The Lady Of The Rains.

The Lady of The Rains

Has foes as well as friends,

She sighs relief every time

a bitter winter ends.

We hold her closely to us,

Our souls they are the same,

Our Friend, Our Love, Our Daughter,

The Lady Of The Rains.

The Lady Of The Rains

Is beautiful as a stream,

when I first saw her I thought myself

in some perfect dream.

Her image in the ocean

is different yet the same;

my muse, my life, my lover,

The Lady Of The Rains.
