All around me are smiling faces

Waving their young sons to war

There smiles betray their bitter queries

What is the reason their fighting for?

They are guarantied a death of honor

For none shall make it back alive

These are the forsaken boys of youth

Their flesh shall wither and die

They prepare themselves for battle

Out on the field their enemy waits

And as the young all march forward

You can see no expression on their face

As this desperate battle commences

One by one the boys do break

And as they stare up at the star studded sky

They realise this was their fate

Of blood the ground shall drink tonight

And of bone the beasts shall gnaw

Forever shall one remember

This war not worth fighting for
