Of fear.
I felt it run down
The inside of my cheek
Slip through my veins
Hide through
A frown
Liquid pain
Scorched my throat
So hard to swallow
So hard
To feign
A tear erupted
And burst
Like a bubble pricked
By a thorn
And burst through
The surface tension
And slipped
Down my face
Burned as it went
Burned a scar
On my skin
