School seems like an endless abyss,

Once we get sucked in, there is so much you miss.

Homework, tests, quizzes, and oh, just throw in a project,

All this makes me feel like I want to object.

It seems like it never ends,

Going on forever, without any bends.

It is sometimes not as hard as it may seem,

Unless you have a teacher who is just plain mean.

(and makes you want to scream!)

I am coming and going to homework without end,

And when you miss something, there are so many things you have to mend.

An endless chain of events,

A circle of sequence.

The bus ride is the most dreary part of the school day,

"Say something to me!" I secretly say.
